High Holy Days 5786
At CBI, the High Holy Days are a time of spirituality, community, and introspection, marking a period that is both sacred and exhilarating, peaceful and provacative. During these momentous days, our whole congregation comes together in unity— from our dedicated weekly shul-goers to twice-a-year attenders (we see you!), along with many guests and friends from near and far. Together, we embark on a journey of reflection, considering the year that has passed with all its blessings and challenges, and welcoming the new year with open hearts and minds.
A Time to Change
CBI's High Holy Day services are known for being profoundly meaningful and deeply inclusive. Our services are full of:
- Soul-Stirring Music: Experience old and new melodies, led by Cantor Amy along with a collection of incredible prayer leaders and musicians.
- Meaningful Sermons: Be inspired by thought-provoking sermons and text studies that inspire us with Jewish wisdom to live with intention, seek community, and to act in the world with justice and goodness.
- Family and Kids' Programming: Engage with special programs that make the High Holy Days accessible and meaningful for our younger members. Family Services with Carl Cedar are an annual favorite.
- A Community of Warmth and Welcome: Join with a Village that values every individual, come as you are and experience Jewish community the way it's meant to feel.
Whether you're a longstanding member of our community or planning to join us for the first time, we look forward to sharing these holy days with you.
