We're heading to the beautiful Brandeis-Bardin Institute (home of Camp Alonim) or a weekend of Shabbat peace, restoration, and community.
We'll completely unplug as we sing, eat, learn, and play outside together in the idyllic setting of BBI- with something for everyone, adults, teens, and kids. Meet fellow CBI'ers and experience a true get-away that will leave you energized and inspired.
What to expect?
Friday
- you'll pull into the gates of the Bardin Institute and feel the weight of the world leave your shoulders. You'll check in and get your cottage, and then join us for a Welcome Circle and musical Kabbalat Shabbat, followed by a big, camp-style Shabbat dinner with old and new friends. Expand your mind & heart with learning and unwind with activities for all ages.
Saturday
- experience a balance of spiritual engagement with participatory Shabbat AM services followed by a long afternoon of activities (or just time for a nap or nature walk). It all culminates in a magical Havdalah Under the Stars, followed by a roaring bonfire.
Sunday
- we'll enjoy a leisurely brunch buffet and morning activities and conclude with a special Closing Circle, before heading back to our lives, refreshed and renewed.
Prepare to take a deep breath, relax, and dive deep into Shabbat!
WHO: All CBI'ers are invited to participate. We welcome singles, couples, and families. For those with children, we'll offer some programs all together as a family, and some special opportunities just for our kids and teens.
WHEN: May 3rd-5th, starts Friday at 4pm, ends Sunday at 11:30.
WHERE: Brandeis-Bardin Institute: 1101 Peppertree Ln, Brandeis, CA 93064
WHY: Because the most powerful way to build community is by sharing Shabbat together without distractions. Come experience the magic of camp with the warmth of CBI.
Register by April 1st to guarantee your spot!
