Yiddish Club meets every 1st and 3rd Sunday at 11am in the Family Life Center. “Nu?” come “kibitz” with this “haymish” group and “zay gezunt.” If you don’t know what that means come and learn, if you do, come and enjoy!
The Book Club meets the 2nd Thursday each month at 7:30 pm in the Bet Midrash. Every month a book is chosen to be read at home and discussed at the meeting.
Israel Connections Committee
Our Israel Connections Committee strives to deepen the connection of the CBI Community to the state and people of Israel through educational programs, social and cultural activities, the involvement of local and visiting Israelis, and travel to Israel. We do not hold a position on internal Israeli politics. Our goal is to provide religious and historical perspective and information about current events. We encourage respectful dialogue at all times, regardless of political leanings.
We encourage all of our members to join a Chavurah, a group of 8-10 individuals or families who become an extended family. Each Chavurah generally gets together once a month, with activities and frequency determined by the group. Chavurot offer our members the opportunity to develop close relationships with others within our congregation.
We play every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm in a private home. A $5 donation is optional. RSVP to the CBI office and bring your mah jongg card.
High Holy Day Choir
Our volunteer choir rehearses for a few months prior to the High Holy Days and raises the level of our prayers.
Our annual Purim Shpiel is a special production created by CBI members and performed at Purim services. Rehearsals begin a couple of months prior to the holiday. Join the fun!
