Family Shabbat Dinners
Shabbat dinners are not on our calendar at this time due to COVID-19
All families with young children are invited to join us for an age-appropriate Shabbat program and dinner the first Friday of each month. Over the course of the school year all families in our Religious School are invited, along with other families with children in the same grade, to Friday night Shabbat services (led by their children) and dinner.

A Chavurah is a group of 8-10 members/member families formed to provide Jewish fellowship and connection to a supportive social network within the larger CBI community. Groups are typically formed based upon similarity in ages and life stages of interested synagogue members. A Chavurah meets one day or evening each month with each member/family responsible for planning one event per year and making attendance to all events a priority. A Chavurah is supported equally by all its members who act in the best interest of the group. In doing so, a sense of extended family with whom life cycle events are shared and a warm sense of Jewish community can be achieved.
