The High Holy Days will be unique this year, and we have been working hard to provide engaging, inspiring, and spiritually meaningful experiences throughout the holidays. We are excited to be together, physically distanced but spiritually close, to start off the new year. Everyone is welcome to join us. Please share our links with family and friends. Opportunities for Our Members to Engage Before Rosh Hashanah

Pick up a Holiday Gift Bag and Mahzor
CBI is offering you the opportunity to borrow prayer books to use during our online High Holy Day services. Please call the synagogue office to reserve your Mahzor. Pick up is available through Thursday, September 17 at 5pm.

Yizkor Book
The Yizkor book will be electronic this year, emailed to everyone and available on our website. Submissions are due by September 23rd.

High Holy Day Healing/Mi Shebeirach List
If you or a loved one(s) are in need of a prayer of healing, we will include your names on our High Holy Day Healing/Mi Shebeirach list.
The list will be seen during our streaming High Holy Day services. If you would prefer the names(s) not appear to our congregation, let us know.
Please send English and/or Hebrew name by September 14 to or fill out the website submission form.

The Call of the Shofar: Learning through the month of Elul
Listen to the call of the shofar and a small teaching throughout the month of Elul, leading up to Rosh Hashanah. Videos begin airing on Thursday, August 20th.

Small Group Discussions starting at the High Holy Days
This will be the 5th year of small group discussions. We will be reading and discussing the book The Seven Questions You’re Asked in Heaven by Ron Wolfson. CBI members and are invited to host a small group. CBI members along with guests are invited to join small groups which will meet at times convenient for those in the group.
