Rabbi Ariel Sholklapper was CBI’s Rabbinic Intern in 2016/2017. He is a mindfulness practioner who got his start under the guidance of Rabbis Jeff Roth, James Jacobson Maisels, and Joanna Katz in 2011. He is the Rabbi at Temple Beth El in Fort Bend County, Texas as well as the Director of the Jewish Mindfulness Center of Houston at Congregation Beth Yeshurun. He earned a degree in philosophy and Jewish studies at UCLA, was ordained at the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies, and holds an MBA in nonprofit management. Rabbi A’s passion is in helping people of all walks of life to live with vigor and personal, spiritual awareness through mindfulness and Jewish living.
