Join us for Shabbat Services: Friday at 6:00 pm, Saturday at 10:00 am
An egalitarian Conservative congregation serving the diverse Orange County Jewish Community

Due to COVID-19, until further notice all services are virtual. Click here for times.

Do a mitzvah of Shabbat attendance on Friday nights:

In order for congregants to say Kaddish, we need to make a minyan on Friday nights. Please consider committing to 1 or 2 Friday night services during the next 6 months.

Weekly Kabbalat Shabbat and Ma’ariv Services

Join us at 6:00 p.m. every Friday night in the Main Sanctuary for a musical, festive engagement of the traditional Shabbat liturgy.  Our goal is to enable a shift as a community from the demands of the work week to the peace, joy, and belonging of the seventh day.

First Friday each Month

Celebration & Dinner for Families with Young Children

A celebration with prayer, song, dancing, and stories led by Rabbi Spitz and Carl Cedar on guitar begins at 5:30 pm and is geared to children 10 years old and under and their families. Shabbat dinner follows the service. RSVP is required for dinner. Click here to RSVP.

USY Shabbat Club

USYers (7-12 graders) lead the 6:00 pm service in the Main Sanctuary and deliver the D’var Torah for the congregation. The teens then go to a host home for Shabbat dinner and a discussion.  This is a very special and popular event!

Shabbat Under the Chandelier with Carl Cedar, followed by Shabbat Dinner

Every 3rd Friday of the month join us for a musical Service with Carl and his guitar, followed by a community Shabbat dinner. RSVP is required for dinner.

Shabbat ShaHome

Shabbat Dinners hosted by congregants for other congregants.

Our goals are to grow connections amongst congregants who may not currently know each other and strengthen connections that already exist, and inspire more people to make Shabbat observance part of “what we do”. Members volunteer to host or be invited to participate in Shabbat dinners throughout the year. Click here for more information.
