Introduction to Judaism at CBI
CBI’s Intro to Judaism course invites you to explore Jewish history, culture, traditions, and wisdom in an inclusive environment, where questions are always welcome. Whether you’re considering conversion, Jewish and want to get back in touch with your roots, learning about Judaism for the first time, or merely want to learn for the sake of learning – we welcome all.
Our class follows American Jewish University’s Miller Introduction to Judaism Program curriculum and covers the essentials of Judaism, including its holidays, rituals, ideas, and traditions. Classes are offered in-person on Sunday afternoons, from October 2023 through April 2024, and will be taught primarily by our CBI clergy, Rabbi Adam Greenwald and Cantor Amy Robinson Katz.
