Policies
and Standards New
Students
In order to place students in the proper grade and academic
level, each new student is to be interviewed by the Director
of Education before joining a class. Attendance
Attendance is essential to the learning process. A student
who misses classes not only misses the material covered,
but also a sense of community and a full background for
understanding the material. We recognize that occasionally
students do have other commitments and teachers will be
happy to provide work for students to take home. Students
are responsible for all missed work. Students
who do not complete all the assignments or miss more than
25 percent of school days will not be promoted to the
next grade. Delivery,
Pick-Up and Parking
In order for all classes to begin on time, please try
to arrive a few minutes ahead of scheduled class time.
Students should be dropped off and picked up in the front
of the synagogue, which faces Park Center.
For your child's protection and safety please be aware
that there is no teacher supervision before 4:00 PM on
weekdays and 8:50 AM on Sundays. We request that you park
your car in the parking lot and escort your child to and
from the school. At no time will you be allowed to block
traffic or park illegally when your child is coming to
or from school. Picking
Up Children During School Time
If you need to have your child leave school before the
regular dismissal time, you must come to the office and
sign your child out. No child is permitted to leave the
school without signing an early release form.

We are working hard to provide the best possible environment
for our children, staff and parents. We ask that you check

classroom work and expectations accordingly, and to the
best of our abilities. Communication
