A Chavurah is a group of 8-10 members/member families
formed to provide Jewish fellowship and connection to
a supportive social network within the larger CBI community.Groups are typically formed based upon similarity
in ages and life stages of interested synagogue members.
A Chavurah meets one day or evening each month with
each member/family responsible for planning one event
per year and making attendance to all events a priority.A Chavurah is supported equally by all its members
who act in the best interest of the group. In doing so, a sense of extended family with
whom life cycle events are shared and a warm sense of
Jewish community can be achieved.
